Kinderdanze I + Music intro - This new combo class will start with Music in Me, LLC
components. A welcome song leads into a series of songs that allow the student to
sing, clap, stomp, feel and play the musical instruments. The second half of the class
will us basic locomotor movements through a series of creative movement concepts.

Skills to be learned include:

• First position
• Knee Bends
• Toe pointes
• Arm shapes
• Trotting
• Galloping
• Tippy Toes
• Curtsy or bow
• Dance a story – creative dance set to a story theme and through music.

Kinderdanze I – This is a class that ignites the joys of dance. It teaches independence
and gives praise for participation. Students learn the same skills listed in the
Kinderdanze I + Music intro.

Kinderdanze II – Layering from Kinderdanze I, this class reinforces the skills taught
in the prior class. Concepts are challenged with patterns and dynamic play.

Skills to be learned include:

• Second position
• Toe pointes in directions
• Springing Jumps
• Gallops forwards and sideways
• Rises
• Quality of movement
• Arms positions
• Dance a story – more refined skills used for creative dance set to a story
  theme and through music.
